Yeh the check raise TB stood out to me and I would really like that line and should be in our cr range

Other option as opposed to x/r and x/c is to simply lead flop and barrel good cards. Easily can end up stronger since we don't risk giving free cards this way. Other downside to x/r flop is simply that guys are not going to bet the flop that wide in the first place when it's 4-way, so we'll end up x/r a gutshot into a possibly rather strong range. Leading we just play against their entire flop range etc.

This is tough. When villain c bets 4 way on this flop does it even matter that we have a gut shot and backdoor FD? We're almost always behind, and up against a strong range.

On the turn we can't rep a set, so what do we expect to get folds from if we raise?

Interested in hearing others comment on this, as I'm probably an out of date relic that isn't gettting frisky enough in these spots, yet it feels that Archi's suggestion is a bit too much.

The suggestion was to c/r flop and triple barrel to take him off over pairs as we represent two pair or better. I think weasel's suggestion is best here for the reasons he stated about our opponents range and keeping our uncapped.
