I would most likely have folded preflop given the BU looks a bit busy and I'll be OOP with 8 high and probably going to hit a 'bit of it', as happened here. Tricky huh, so I don't bother, too many imponderables for me. (nit alert!) Table needs to be very passive for me these days to raise that, maybe it's a lack of my skill but I just get called far too often on these tables most times.

As it went I would chk/c flop, fold turn, kick dog, move on. I wouldn't call the flop raise with an 8 high flush draw, there's likely only one way I'll get paid later streets and we know how that will probably end ... Position again.

Just be aware of table, your position and (sometimes) image and whether we can get folds enough times from this position. If we get called it's still not great for getting paid off because it's so hard to get the money in OOP except v extremely large tuna.

That's my take on it anyway, I am willing to be shot down though!

Well the last thing you should ever be doing is folding 2nd pair and a flush draw just facing a small flop raise and a turn bet. Just call and then call off rivers if you think villain is bluffing or fold if you do not improve.

We are 5 handed here and 78s is at the edge of my range and nobody behind was particulary 3bet happy so I don't mind.

Preflop open is good even on a busy table.

Calling flop is preferable to reraising on the flop when there's so many better flush draws he can play this way.

His turn bet is big, no doubt. I think we can still call though because of our showdown value possibly being good as well an 8 or 7 on top of the flush draw outs. You should be doing EV calculations for this rather than asking for a call/fold answer as well, you'll understand the situation much clearer.

Calling flop is good. Not sure what makes this a small raise and turn bet though. The turn is a big follow up after raising into UTG raising range. I guess he could be doing this with FD's, maybe J9 and all the sets.

VS say TT,88,22,J9s,AcJc,KcJc,QcJc,AcTc,KcTc,QcTc,JcTc,Ac9c,Tc9c,Ac8c,9c8c,Ac7c,8c7c,Ac6c,7c6c you have about 50% and can't be folding.

Plan on the river though is a tough one as the flush might not be idea, overs might not be ideal, brick might not be ideal. Thoughts from others here, lets assume we call turn. What do we do on some rivers?
