Anon. Are we raising flop here for protection and fold out the BB or should we flat and see what he does on the turn because he's the UTG raiser?

You know.. you can also actually 3bet PF from MP since you don't want to end up multiway when others behind see good odds and then fold to a 4bet if needs be vs the UTG but a call is fine. It seems so strong and you won't usually get played back at unless with a big value hand. Also add your feeling on villain. I'm guessing at this point you don't have a working HUD for anon games.

There's a lot of worse hands that bet this flop. KT spades, QT spades. JT spades. KQ, AK may cbet. Occaisionally some overpairs but then we see how the action goes. A bet this size may indicate a pair of T's or J's or 9s.

I feel good hands with draws or overpairs bet larger on this board for protection and semi-bluff so you can just raise and take it. Let's face it, you won't be getting much value more from PP's T or lower unless they hit anyway.

Don't raise the flop unless you're happy to get AQ in. Without reads I'm not a fan of going broke on the flop with TPTK in a single raised pot.

Your call is fine as you have position.

I'm almost nitty enough to fold pre flop here against an utg raise just to avoid tough spots like this but it would also depend on the villain. I don't really want to raise an utg open and calling leaves it open to getting squeezed if you have anyone aggro enough behind you. However there is certainly nothing wrong with the call and as played I'd probably just call the flop and try to keep the pot small.

Just calling flop. I don't see any other reasonable play.

I agree with trollord59, but the best play pre is call. There is no real reason to 3bet, because villains range is strong and in the same time we can outflop him fairly often. And we have position. If we get ourselves in a multiway spot, we have to play postflop mutliway. It's better then 3b/fold hand as strong as AQs.
And the only line on flop is call. We're never folding and there is not enough reasons to raise.

Call is fine pre and on flop imo. I don't want to be 3betting this v utg range as mentioned by others, seems a bit over the top with others still to act to.

I don't like flop calls... pre calls ok.. raise cbet on the flop imo.because without raise, you will never think oppenent's range..

Get off putz Smile Yes try this against a Cbet range as well constructed as mine and see what happens Smile

As played this is a straight forward call. The points of raising will generally come down to being for value or as a bluff. Both of these make no sense at this point so just call and then probably call down on a lot of run outs.

I agree, it's a really simple call. It's not like you can't ever raise here but I'd need very specific info on my opponent to ever consider that.
