Do you think my raise on the flop is a mistake?
The river I hate because he has some Ad draw hands that will hit this.

I don't mind the raise against this player type, they can defo call us down with worse.

River looks like a fold to me, can't see them donk shoving for half pot as a bluff esp when the A hits on the river.

Raising top pair type hands against bad players is a great way to increase your win rate. Tons of extra value, and being in position you're not forced to put money in the pot on the river if you don't think there's enough worse hands calling.

It's just unlucky the way the hand played out, but your idea was good.

As played I'm folding because I wouldn't put it past him to call flop and turn with a bare Ax,plus he has every combo of aces up.

100% 3betting pre for value bvb against a high PFR fish like this.

As played your flop raise is fine, but it is too small. I would go for almost a potsize raise and get it in on the turn. It would make your life a lot easier.
