My goal on the flop is to get the money in ASAP, wold be check raising and calling it off.

Turn sucks, we don't beat much think I'm folding as I would on the river. Don't see many worse hands that we beat asides from maybe KT which 3bet as a bluff pre.

Both c/r and call works on the flop. Donkbet too. If we play c/c im c/c all the way down not anything else we can do on this runout.

What do you do if you are villain with AK/AA on this flop, @Harvie ?
I would check a lot? As played I think you have to fold the turn. No odds to boat up and even if you do you won't get value out of a J and get stacked by AA/KK.

I think that the runout pretty much dictates the optimal line to take here and it looks like you took it. Well played.

No one raises river? Guy has like $4 after he bets? Am I missing something significant here...?

I like raising this flop. I understand wanting to keep as many hands as possible in villains range, including bluffs and weaker value bets, but I don't see many of these continuing on the turn or river without improving to the nuts anyway. Plus we only don't want to raise if we would have a tough decision when reraised. It would be a pretty easy fist pump jam if that happened so why not go for the value. You only lose to one hand and will likely stack off AA and AK. I do see the merit in calling though.

You could definitely fold the turn. Doubt AK barrels here so you are up against a value range that crushes you. Aces, kings, any jack. Even if you factor in some bluffs (are there any here?) you're not getting a price on improving. But if you think villain can get a bit crazy...

As played it's a call on the river. While it sucks that there is a good chance you are losing to aces or kings, you have the best possible hand you can have in this situation. You never have aces or kings yourself as you are 4betting them preflop. So you literally can't have better to call with. Folding therefore means folding 100% of your hands and that is too exploitable. It's a cooler. Call, sigh, move on.

@Joshk81 Why put more money in the pot than you have to?

Villain surely has more combos of Jacks / Jx and AK/AQ than AA and KK and they are not folding any of these often on river laying 7:1 on a call. Do AA KK AK AQ bet turn? @jongordon84 because I would want his last $4 Cheeky

im raising flop trying to get it in, as played im raising river getting it in

I'd be raising the flop here but looks fine as played. I think river would be closer if you didn't boat up and villain tripled because he has some Jx in his range
