I play this the same way. Once that flop hits I'm done with the hand and pretty much giving up unless I hit an A or K. No equity in the hand and very hard to make moves.

I do not change anything here. This board absolutely sucks for use and it is far to wet to consider any kind of light call down, and raising the turn would put us in all sorts of awkward spots on every single river so check folding flop/turn seems absolutely fine to me on this kind of board.

I think your line is fine, but I'm wondering if we can do something non standard here. I would expect villain to be c betting all of his big pairs whether they have a spade or not. Maybe betting the turn and river can have a better expectation than check folding the turn. It's a bit of a grim spot, but I think we still have the best hand here a fair bit. It's only a small sample size but villain has started off somewhat aggro as well.
