NL10z 33

Standard open pre. Goes multiway so check back my 4th pair. Gin turn and get small lead, raise to charge draws and single pair hands or even some 2 pair.

River sucks as now 4x got there and he pots. Got to call right? But nothing I can get value from a raise. If he has 54s or A4 gg.

Some stats would help. By default raise bigger on turn, .9-1, somewhere around that. River sucks yeah, but I don't see what other hands apart from 4x is he potting here... looks like we only hold a bluffcatcher and pot river donks are usually nuts

I would be raising turn larger. You did 3x but since he bet 1/3 pot it ends up being really small. I'd make it about 0.90.

River sucks. You definitely can't raise for value. I want to say there shouldn't be many 4x in his range but he's playing half a stack so who knows. 98s is a real possibility but so are bluffs and without any extra information I don't think I find a fold.

Yeh finding a fold here is very tough as villain is repping such a small range for it to ever make sense but do players spazz enough in this spot or somehow show up with 2 pair?

Definitely a weird spot.

I'm raising the turn to 85c because of how small his bet was.

On the river I'm probably calling because he's a half stack and those guys are usually capable of doing strange things. He can obviously have 4x and just be calling for the pure gutshot, but I've seen this line with stuff like A5 A7 too, he also has some heart draws that missed.

DId you puke when he pots river? lol
Anyways this is a real rough spot, i personally lean towards folding just cuz this is micro.
However in a vacuum, I dont think there is a significant difference whether you folded or called here.

I puked and clicked fold. I think at any stake above this I'd be more likely to call. I just assume that when half stacked total unknown at NL10z donk pots the river he has got something he thinks is the nuts. Here I guess he could have 76 or 65 as well as 4x or 9h8h. Perhaps even some Q6?

I might do some review on this tonight. When river gets donked 80% PSB or bigger what did they have. I'm guessing its strong range of straights and flushes that binked and some occasional spaz.

I think the fold was made by a player who can puke and still do it, meaning they're a winner at these stakes. Kudos points for this one, I would be sorely tempted to call but then that's microstakes curiosity for you!
I would tank/fold only because there're a possible 2 straights, if there was one I'd probably tank/call like the station I am.

Apart from needing a bigger raise on turn(as metioned by others) wp - I think! Smile

On the turn here he bets pretty damn small. I'd like to charge the draws but we can go between 0.80 and 1.

Because the pot isn't huge, this makes for a tougher fold. I guess if it was a bit bigger and he still did this after you raise larger on turn then it becomes easier.

I think it's a good fold if you're on your game. If he has the gutshot with 89 then a guy like this will likely your your raise size.
