I was raising to get it in on the flop vs. a short stacker... Is this ok or should we be just calling as he still has overpairs to tens in his UTG range? *I notice on review that my sizing is quite small! My bad!

Ace comes on the turn after he calls my flop raise... Not good. I check... He shoves...

Call or fold?

I think it's just a fold with him having a bunch of AX in his UTG range. Also I think you raised way too small on flop, I would probably have made it something like 85 so you have just under a pot sized shove on the turn if your intention was to get it in. As played I just fold.

Oh I didn't see the edit sorry. Yeah np man, also I know that my insight may be incorrect or flawed sometimes because I'm not a high level player but this way I try to improve my way of thinking about hands and also give you another perspective on the hand from a fellow NL5 player. Laugh

I do not like this flop raise it just gets us into heaps of trouble and is kind of blind eyed poker where we don;t have that good of a reason to do this.

Just call down flop, call turn and re-evaluate river is the best line to take here.

As played fold turn.

I don't like the raise but I'd take the c/c line. However there are merits to it because people spaz thinking you can't have anything here. Shame the A gets there just fold now
