That's sick i would of been on tilt after that,Did this effect the next few hands if so how do you get over tilt if you don't mind me asking

This sort of thing doesn't bother me actually. I played perfectly. I'd have been way more tilted if I was the villain as I get annoyed with mistakes rather than results. If I am tilted though I need to quit for a bit. Once I'm gone mentally it's not worth trying to fix while still playing in my opinion.

This is one of my favourite bad beat stories, as told by TJ Cloutier and published in The Best Hand I Ever Played: 52 Winning Poker Lessons from the World's Greatest Players, by Steve Rosenbloomin

It was against Al Krux, a cash game at the Bicycle Club about ten years ago. No Limit Hold'em. He hadn't won a pot all day. He had, like, $445 left or something and he moved all in. The guy two to his left was getting a massage. He lifted his head up and looked at it and decided not to call and threw it away. The massage girl saw the hand too.

It got around to me on the button. I had two 10's and I said, hell, I'll call him because this is his last money and he might not have too much. So I call. Now, the dealer didn't see that I made the call and she dropped the deck on the muck. That means she had to reshuffle all the cards.

The flop came K-10-4. I had two 10's. I flopped three 10's. He had two kings, so he had flopped three kings. The fourth card was a 10, so I had four 10's and I beat him in this pot.

But that's not the kicker. The kicker is, you remember the guy who was looking at his hand and getting a massage? He had the other two 10's and had thrown them away. He told us he had thrown two 10's away, and the massage girl said, "This guy threw away two 10's." So that meant the dealer had to make a mistake and drop the deck and reshuffle those 10's back in for Al to lose this hand to me. It's the worst beat in the history of poker.

Needless to say, I never won another hand that night, but I beat him out of his last $445. Story of a lifetime

This one was sort of a bad beat from a $2/$5 table this morning.

There's an old guy been playing pretty tight, hadn't played many but hands he did play he had been folding quite often to aggression from 1 player in particular so there was a little bit of a rivalry growing between them and I could sense a little frustration from him, probably at not being able to hit anything against him (on the table, not his fist LaughLaugh )

So they're in a hand together again, Old guy has raised from the cut-off and aggro player 3-bet him (again) from the SB. Old guy calls.

Flop is AA8

The pot's probably around $80 and aggro throws in $50. Old guy puts his head in hands like he's proper pissed but then grabs all of his chips and pushes them in the middle, he's got like $700 or so, so the whole table wakes up at this point and is looking at the aggro guy.

He says "I've probably got outs" and calls!!

Aggro guy turns over A2 (!!), and the old guy slams down his A8 and stands up with a "Finally!! I've got you!!"

The turn is a 3.

The river... 8

Split pot!! The old guy sits down and just looks beaten, I do feel bad for him, it's an awful call but he's managed to get paid off and the guy spikes the river. He played about 5 more hands then quit. When he left another player said "I folded the other 8 as well!", so a true 1 outer for a huge pot
