How have you found the merged pools to be so far @CrazyCookie ?

Down in the trenches where I play, like nl4/10/20 the lobby has filled up very nicely and the games are, dare I say it, even better than before? Some very strange players out there but I don't know about higher up yet.

No, wait...no money here guys, everybody solid! Sweating

Only played about 5k hands at 20nl to get back into playjng so far but finding the games pretty (very) easy. Wouldn't say they are as fishy as they were on pkr where the reg to fish ratio was pretty absurd, but mgn regs seem to be pretty bad as well so it's no sweat. Annon tables are good. I would however say I've made significant changes to my game and probably improved by 80% so that could be why!

Looking forward to 50 and 100nl field. Will be interesting to see if the skill gap has gotten bigger with the merge.

How often/what times are you playing?

I play as and when my bankroll gets renewed each day, mostly after 8a.m. I think after about 11 a.m. it gets a bit 'reggy' and they start playing pass the parcel with the blinds. Sleepy I usually sit back in again at around 3 - 3:30 p.m. and they often open up around that time again. In the evening I join around 8 - 8:30p.pm and hope for the winning casino players to turn up, haha. Not sure if it'll stay like that because of the influx but I don't see why not really.
So sometimes I play a lot if the games are good obviously, but if they get all reggy on me I just give it up for the day.

I try to get in 1k hands but sometimes that isn't possible if I hit stoploss or I think I'm not on the ball, I just get out and try later.
The regs are bad I agree and far too aggro most times but they don't seem to mind going broke so that's always a plus! Smile

As far as fishiness is concerned, at nl4/nl10 at least it's a minefield they're so bad. I can play good (for me anyway) and get murdered some days but it's great fun.

Oh and good luck with nl50/nl100 to, I can't comment on those games as they're a bit above my pay grade for now. Looking forward to getting at least nl50 this year. I took a shot at nl20 but got crushed this month so back to the drawing board for me for now. Laugh

If you do the stuff I di D in that Snowie video you will beat 20nl with absolute ease.

Howcome you can play any time if day? What dyou do for work? Cheeky I wouldn't bother playing 10-5 all the fish at work, if you are free and want to do poker stuff study, play Snowie, work on mental game. If I was in your position I would study about 3 hours a day! When I have bank holidays or time off I get in 3 hours minimum and always regret not being able to do so full time lol

Yes, I will be taking a look at Snowie this month at some stage, the coach said it would be good to know about it.

I can play anytime sduring the day mostly, except when feeding the mrs or walking the dog etc., because I'm not well enough to work and probably won't be again. Playing is fun and learning keeps the grey matter busy and gets me a few euros to help with the bills or buy the mrs a small prezzie, that sort of thing.
I'd like to get to nl50 and be a winner there, it wont be easy for me as I can't learn as quickly as I used to (had a visus in my brain) but I'm giving it a good go with help from JonVIP and the other guys on the staking deal.
If I could learn (and remember!) a quarter of what JonVIP has forgotten I'd be 'quite' good! Laugh

It will certainly help Smile

And ah man I didn't know that! Learning definitely a great approach though, the number of people my age who don't have anything to aim for is sad so seeing you putting the effort in is great Laugh
